Organized by LT361.COM and Tecnon OrbiChem, with support from China National Development and Reform Commission and China National Chemical Fiber Corp, 1st China International Acetic Acid - Vinyl Acetate Forum was held during 11-13 Mar, 2009, in Royalton Hotel, Shanghai. The conference was attended by more than 130 representatives from renowned enterprises home and abroad, and Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) was the sponsor.

During the conference, speeches were given by senior officials from leading enterprises including Celanese, Sipchem, Dow Chemical, Tecnon OrbiChem, Shanghai Wujing, Johnson Matthey, etc., as well as related institutes. Speakers gave their opinions on current sentiment and difficulties faced by China acetic acid industry, analysis on market future, and also advices on industry investment. Participants also exchanged ideas on industry development and their plans in the future.

The conference was regarded as quite informative and helpful, and many participants showed great interest in having more such opportunities to exchange ideas and discuss market sentiment. Mr. Zhu Boliang, the conference chairman, also extended his invitation to participations for a second session next year.
