5th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum(2008)

With support from China Chemical Fiber Association, China Wool Textile Association and China National Chemical Fiber Corp., 5th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum (2008) was jointly organized by China Chemical Fiber Economic Information Network (CCFEI) and PCI Acrylonitrile Ltd., during 23-25 Apr 2008, in Royalton Hotel, Shanghai, China.
The Forum was attended by more than 120 representatives from home and abroad. Senior officials from famed industry majors, including Asahi Kasei, Thai Acrylic Fiber, PCI, Formosa, Jilin Chemical Fiber, Shanghai Petrochemical..., gave speech on highly concerned issues such as market review and perspective, supply-demand balance and applications of acrylic fiber. Players gathered to change opinions on upstream and downstream environment, and influence brought by changing exchange rate. Though acrylonitirle and acrylic industry is not faced with a favorable condition in 2008, there are still highlights that deserve our concern, for example the development of specialized fibers, especially carbon fibers, which are of wide application and in great demand in China. There were also producers introducing development of anti-pilling fibers and colored fibers. |
