Organized by CCFEI and Tecnon Orbichem, the 5th China International Polyester & Intermediates Forum was held during 5-7 Nov 2008, in Rainbow Hotel, Shanghai. The conference consisted of three parts focusing on polyester market, technology and textile market respectively, during which speeches were delivered by top managements from world-famed petrochemical enterprises, technology suppliers, polyester feedstock producers, polyester producers as well as related industry associations and institutions, on widely concerned issues such as difficulties faced by Chinese polyester players, latest R&D of differentiated polyester fibers and textile import in Europe and US, etc. And in the Panel Discussion, participants gathered to give opinions and exchange ideas on how to stay through the financial crisis, trading frictions and volatile upstream market.
