Organized by CCFEI and Tecnon Orbichem, the 6th China International Polyester & Intermediates Forum had been held during 28-30 Oct 2009, in Rainbow Hotel, Shanghai. The conference gained strong support from China National Development and Reform Commission, China Chemical Fiber Association and China National Chemical Fiber Corp, and was attended by around 150 representatives from renowned enterprises home and abroad, including CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals, Hainan Shengzhiye, Hengyi Petrochemical, Invista, Oriental Petrochemical (Shanghai) Corporation, Rongsheng Chemical Fiber, SABIC, Samsung C&T Corporation, Sichuan Huvis, Sinopec, SK Chemicals, South Holding Group, Tongkun Group, PetroChina...etc.
During the conference, discussions were focused on hot issues facing chemical fiber industry: trade friction, competitiveness of China polyester industry, and polyester market future. Speeches were delivered by senior officials from industry associations, industry consultants, top managements from world-famed petrochemical enterprises and technology providers from home and abroad, including Tecnon OrbiChem, CCFA, GSI, SK Chemicals, EPC Industrial Engineering, Sinopec Chemical Products Sales Company, CCFEI, Novapet, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange.
