Organized by LT361.COM of CCFEI and CRU, China International Sulphur and Sulphuric Acid Conference (2012) was held during 20-22 June 2012, in The Longemont Shanghai, China. The conference was attended by more than 320 representatives from renowned sulphur, sulphuric acid and phosphate producers, traders, machinery suppliers and institutions from home and abroad, including: LG, Itochu, Marubeni, Mitsui, Oxbow, Reliance, TCO, Topsøe, China National Petroleum and Chemical Planning Institute, China Sulphuric Acid Industry Association, Research Institute of Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industrial Group, Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical...to name just a few.

China has large demand for sulphur, and also a major phosphate producer and consumer of the world. Participants changed opinions on perspective of China market future. Some pointed out that in spite of great sulphur demand, resistance against high prices would grow. Phosphate export of China was also a focus. There were deals of more than 100kt concluded during the conference with Canadian buyers.
