The 10th China International Polyamide & Intermediates Forum, supported by Nylon Committee of China Chemical Fiber Association (CCFA) and China National Chemical Fiber Corp., organized by China Chemical & Fiber Economic Information Network (CCFEI) and Tecnon OrbiChem, is held at on 6th December, 2012 in Rainbow Hotel, Shanghai, China. More than 300 participants representing leading enterprises from home and overseas, including BASF, Capro, CCFA, CPDC, DSM, Hengyi Petrochemical, Honeywell, Invista, Jinjiang Technology, KuibyshevAzot, Lanxess, Shenma Group, Xinhui Meida...etc., gathered to share info and views about the polyamide industry, covering caprolactam, PA chips, engineering plastics, nylon filament yarn, adipic acid, HMDA and polyamide 6 & 66...

During the conference, participants exchanged views regarding market status quo and perspective, as well as technology developments and economy outlook. They came to agree that the fast expansion of caprolactam, especially with mid-to-low end products, would be a main challenge to nylon industry in the future, and the main opportunities will lie in the fields of engineering plastics and film.
