Mr. Luo shares some risk management cases, explains the necessity of risk management for industrial customers, and puts forward three key factors of risk management: Risk exposure, time cycle and transaction management.

After the coffer break, Li Lixin, Deputy GM of Shanghai HOTO Engineering Inc talks about a toluene/methanol-based process producing PX and light olefins.

Andreas W. Engelhardt, General Manager of The Fiber Year introduces the advantages of linking petrochemicals with textiles.

Zhao Cheng, Deputy Manager of Information Dept., CCFEI, ends the session with her speech on China’s polyester market amid changing. Ms. Zhao reviews the polyester market in the first half of 2014, and puts forward several industrial features for 2014: Quick growth for production capacity, slow growth for production and new balance among PX-PTA-PET market that leads to continuous profit shifting. Meanwhile, MEG market in 2014 also shows some noticeable characters, and the influence of inventory upon price trend seems a little lagged. So the industrial solidification will probably be an inevitable stage for the development of polyester market in 2014.
