The last speech is from Andreas W. Engelhardt, General Manager of The Fiber Year, titled Polyester´s Contribution to the Textile Industry -Different National Strategies. According to Mr. Engelhardt, world fiber market will continue to grow, and additional fiber supply will mainly be manmade fibers. He believes that polyester growth is to slow down as its potentiality as a fiber substitute have already made full play, while cotton cultivation will be valued for its huge contribution in employment opportunities. |
