The 15th China International Polyamide & Intermediates Forum, supported by Nylon Committee of China Chemical Fibers Association (CCFA) and China National Chemical Fiber Corp., organized by CHTC Landview Network Co., Ltd. (CCFEI) and Tecnon OrbiChem, is held at 9:00 a.m., 4th December, 2017 in Wyndham Bund East Shanghai, China. Leading players from home and overseas, including: BASF, CCFA, CPDC, DSM Nanjing, Hengyi Petrochemical, Highsun Synthetic Fiber, INVISTA, Jinjiang Technology, KuibyshevAzot, Lubao Coking Group, PULWAY, Shenma Group, SCC (main sponsor of the 2017 event), Sinopec, Sumitomo, Tianchen Yaolong, Xinhui Meida, Yangquan Coal Industry...etc., are gathering to share their ideas about widely concerned issues of the nylon chain. In the first-day sessions, we will have 9 speeches in the first day, with five in the morning, and four in the afternoon. There will still be five speeches for the second day.

After free communicating during the coffee break, Huang Wei from Sinopec Chemical Commercial Holding presents a speech referring to De-capacity of Caprolactam Industry. According to her, it will still take some time to finish the extension in both upstream and downstream in nylon industrial chain, and the market competition will not only cover a single product, but cover products in the whole industrial chain in the future.

He Zhuosheng, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Xinhui Meida Nylon presents a speech titled Status Quo and Reflection of China Nylon-6 Industry. Mr. He points out that China’s nylon 6 industry have switched to pursue quality instead of quantity, and the industry will enhance its competitiveness by better caprolactam cost control. He also suggests that non-fiber nylon-6 products, such as engineering plastics and BOPA will be the highlights for the future.

While China’s plastic industry witness growing production and demand, producers find themselves in a tougher condition. Mr. Gong provides some suggests about how to solve their problems.

After coffee break, Charles Fryer, Chairman of Tecnon OrbiChem Ltd. comes with a question  --  Can Caprolactam Markets Remain Healthy? Mr. Fryer believes that the constantly expanding caprolactam capacity in China has caused oversupply globally and is endangering profit margin, though strict environmental inspections are expected to restrict production thereafter.
