13：30—Horace Chan, Energy and Chemicals Senior Industry Analyst, Bloomberg Intelligence brought us a speech about Support for Polyester Demand Across Key Regions and Markets, in which he stated that global market stall faced handful of uncertainties, including world economy slowing down in Sep-Oct, poor performance of the US consumer market, second wave of pandemic in Europe, Brexit, unemployment and inflation in the fallout of COVID-19, etc., and China’s polyester industry would mainly depend on domestic demand.

14：10—Javier Rivera, Senior Consultant of Tecnon OrbiChem talked about Trends & Challenges & Opportunities in the Post-COVID period, in which he emphasized the role crude oil, sustainable development, consumer market and macro-economy factors in the aftermath of pandemic.

14：55—After coffee break, Hu Xinmin, General Sales Manager of Huahong Chemical Fiber shared views about the highlight of the year: PSF futures, which witnessed great volatility during the first 7-day trading days since it was listed. Referring to status quo, changes brought by industry integration and PSF futures, Mr. Hu provided his advices about current challenges and opportunities, and also future prospect of PSF market.

15：35—Wang Guangqian, Chief Research Officer of Hengyi Industries contributed an Analysis on Polyester Feedstock Market against the Backdrop of R&C Integration, which mainly contained polyester chain features, PTA and upstream markets, polyester and textile demand. According to Mr. Wang, the upward integration increased domestic feedstock availability, and thus posed downward pressure on costs. With PTA expansion outpacing downstream demand growth, the market will remain structurally long.
